NEWSWIRE: BIG MACHINE RECORDS UNVEILS NEW TRIO EDENS EDGE AT COUNTRY RADIO SEMINAR

EdensEdge

Trio Edens Edge made their debut in front of Country radio VIPs this week this week during the Big Machine Label Group/CMT Radio event at Country Radio Seminar, and based on feedback and response from radio and industry guests who attended the performance, the band emerged as one of the week's biggest buzz artists. Edens Edge-comprised of Hannah Blaylock, Cherrill Green and Dean Berner-hail from Arkansas, and after moving to Nashville in 2007, the trio caught the ears of the city's music community. "When we first got started, we had a seven-piece band," recalls Dean Berner. "It started with a group of old family friends and it was just a very grassroots kind of band, and we did really well back in Arkansas." Edens Edge's Cherrill Green's performance experience is anchored in bluegrass music, and she brought that perspective to the group. "We weren't just put together by someone. We found each other," notes Cherrill Green. Upon graduation from college, she says the trio decided to move to Nashville and try to make music for a living. "We just came together and decided to take the next step of making a career out of this. It's been so gradual that it hasn't even really felt like we set out to do this-it just kind of happened," Green continues. "I always knew I wanted to be a performer," Hannah Blaylock chimes in. "I always knew I wanted to sing. It's been my soul food. So when the band was created, it was my dream come true." Look for new music from Edens Edge coming soon. Edens Edge is managed by Hwy 7 Entertainment's Kye Fleming and Heather Moody. To watch their 'Introducing Edens Edge' video feature, click here.
