Biography

Chris Young is an American country music artist born in Tennessee. Young started showing interest in music from an early age and performed in various theater productions. He sang in his high school choir and played in local clubs.

In 2006, Chris tried out for Nashville Star on USA Networks and won the show. The win helped him earn a contract with RCA Records Nashville and later that year he released his debut single “Drinkin’ Me Lonely”.

Chris Young has produced a total of four albums and all of them have been Number 1 hit albums. Young’s fourth album “A.M.” was released in September of 2013. Young severed as an Ambassador for the CMA Songwriter’s Series showcased in Europe as an attempt to get country music overseas.
