Biography

Newsboys is a Christian pop rock band founded in 1985 in Queensland, Australia founded by Peter Furler and his friend George Pedfikis and two of their other best friends. They came to the United States in 1987 after signing with Refuge Communications and released their first album “Read All About It” in 1988.

They released their newest album, Restart, on September 10, 2013 and completed their “Restart Tour” in the fall of 2013. The band has filmed a sequence for the film, “God’s Not Dead” which will be released in early 2014. The band currently is compiled of four musicians with none of the original members.
